John Boyega to produce 2 Nigerian films for Netflix

Hollywood star John Boyega has signed a development deal with Netflix to produce 3 African films – Boyega’s production company Upper-room Productions will focus on non-English language films from West and East Africa – Two of these films are to come from Nigeria and one from Egypt – The projects will be based on Nollywood classics, screenplays and mythology These are great times for the Nigerian film industry as one of the country’s very own, John Boyega is set to contribute his efforts in putting Nigeria on the map. The Hollywood star recently signed a development deal with American media-services provider and production company, Netflix, to produce three African films. Nollywood actors Kenneth Okonkwo, Kanayo O Kanayo and Bob Manuel Udokwu have been conferred with the Veteran Actor of Nigeria (VAN) award.

“ It was a climax for the first actor that acted the first movie that started Nollywood, Kenneth Okonkwo as he was honored with the prestigious award of the Veteran Actor of Nigeria (VAN) by the Actors Guild of Nigeria”.
The three actors shot to limelight with their appearance in the Kenneth Nnebue produced ‘Living in Bondage’ film released in 1993.

Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham sent messages to her fan to stop judging people by their past mistakes.

She narrated in Instagram page saying “Everybody has a past, some more intense than others. Stop using their past to judge them. Everyone have done something they are not proud of. So when people want to change support them and help them grow, stop judging them”
The actress who recently go married to Kola Ajejemi at the Ikoyi registry took to her Instagram page to advice people judging her by her past mistake. Newsmen report that Badmus on Monday threw the challenge to the company.
